PPP Prep: Mosely Old Hall

Mosely Old Hall - the home that saved a King! When King Charles I was executed in 1649 his son Charles found himself in exile. He was a man who fought a civil war for the title of King, however Charles II didn’t win straight away and was hunted for many years. After losing a terrible battle Charles II was left with only a handful of followers and no where to go. Luckily he found Mosely Old Hall, was welcomed in and hidden away until he found himself in a position to escape the country.

This was a great place to visit and I learnt many a thing about Charles the II’s time at Mosely. Outside was a lovely wooded area including a small tree fort built upon the spot where Charles II was rumoured to have hid in a tree. I managed to get a few reference shots.
